Emerald Travelutions™ sprouted out of my continued interest in travel and necessity to help facilitate the Youthful Evolution™ lifestyle for my mate Gary and I as we travel. Come to find out countless others we know were basically seeking similar resources that are often a little buried… which is why I refer to them as “Gems”.
I have spent a good deal of my life traveling. My first trip was a flight with my mom when I was a few months old. We were going to meetup with my dad, a Navy fighter pilot who was returning from a six month deployment cruise. And so, I believe I was born to fly! On that trip my mother proudly wore the wings my father pinned on her when they became engaged. About 26 years later she pinned the same wings on me when I received my official flight crew wings for a major airline carrier. What can I say, its in my blood. I have the travel bug, and I love it!
A little known secret I learned about my mom shortly after she received her heavenly wings, is that she had aspirations to be a flight attendant and applied for a position. Her shorter height kept her from being able to get on board. Height requirements had changed by the time I applied. My mom has glorified wings now, and she goes where ever, whenever she wants!
